The Pinewood Derby
Last night I made my pinewood derby car. Part of it broke off so I hot glued it back together. I used a hand saw not the power saw most people used only two people used the hand saw that I know of. My car’s colors are going to be yellow, red, and black. I have two cars to choose from one was already cut and one I got to cut. The one I want to use most is the one I made. I haven’t put on the wheels or painted my car yet. My car’s base color is going to be black. I used an electric sandpaper machine to sandpaper my car. The power saw also took longer than the hand saw. The designs on my car are going to use red the most the yellow will be the flames I am also planning on having a few rockets painted onto it with the red.

Sweet! Pinewood Derby is pretty fun. Your great-grandfather Clyde helped me build my Pinewood Derby cars way back when. He had an electric sander we used to make it. It was gold with black pinstripes. It was a winner.
